Local Town Council: Our journey began with the local support of the local Town Council. Together, we’ve embarked on initiatives to reduce pollutions and promote sustainable energy within the community by ensuring wood waste is correctly processed into landfills rather then burnt in the forests and at the industries where it causes largescale pollution. By working with the town council to properly recycle the waste generated by these factories they are able to collect the waste and properly transport it to the landfill without the fear of large scale fires during the summer months.

Smallholder Forests of Iringa: Aligning with our vision, these local forestry heroes are the future backbone of our raw material sourcing. Moving forward we are commencing the certification of these smallholders so their dedication ensures we have quality wood waste for our briquettes from multiple sources going forward and not just from the landfill waste generated from industries located in the town centres.
